Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Auto Accident Lawyer 24 ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information you provide through autoaccidentlawyer24.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, calling our hotline, sending a message, or submitting a form, you consent to this Policy.
1. Attorney-Client Privilege Notice
Submitting a contact form, sending a WhatsApp message, or calling the hotline does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship. Until a written engagement agreement is signed by both you and the attorney, information you share is treated as confidential prospective-client information under Texas Disciplinary Rule 1.05(b) and Rule 1.18, but is not protected by the full attorney-client privilege. Do not send time-sensitive, confidential, or detailed case information until a relationship is formally established.
2. Information We Collect
- Contact information you provide: name, phone number, email address, brief description of your accident.
- Communication content: messages sent via contact form, WhatsApp, SMS, or recorded phone calls (where lawful and disclosed).
- Automatic data: IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, pages visited, timestamps. Collected via Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity.
- Cookies: small files stored on your device for analytics and session management. See Section 6.
3. How We Use Information
- To evaluate whether we can represent you and respond to your inquiry.
- To run a conflicts check before opening any matter.
- To improve the Site, our intake process, and our marketing.
- To comply with legal obligations, including the Texas Rules of Professional Conduct and attorney advertising rules.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Third-Party Services
The Site uses the following third-party processors. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Google Analytics 4 — aggregate site usage analytics.
- Microsoft Clarity — session recordings and heatmaps. Personal form fields are masked.
- Mailgun — transactional email delivery for contact-form notifications.
- WhatsApp / Meta — chat communications you initiate via the WhatsApp button.
- Vercel / Cloudflare — hosting, DNS, and edge security.
5. Data Retention
Prospective-client communications are retained for the period required to evaluate your case and run conflicts checks, and thereafter as required by the Texas Rules of Professional Conduct and our internal retention policy (typically 7 years from last contact). Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics 4 defaults.
6. Cookies
We use first-party cookies for session management and third-party cookies (Google, Microsoft) for analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser; the Site will still function, but some analytics may not be collected. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising tracking.
7. Your Rights
Texas does not currently have a comprehensive consumer privacy statute equivalent to the CCPA, but you may still request that we (a) confirm what information we hold about you, (b) correct inaccuracies, or (c) delete information that is not subject to a legal hold or professional retention obligation. Email info@autoaccidentlawyer24.com with your request.
8. Children
The Site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including TLS encryption in transit and access controls. No system is 100% secure; you submit information at your own risk.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site for at least 30 days.
